Field Education Placements and Summer Internship Opportunities

There are multiple opportunities for field education placements and paid summer internships through Seminarians for Worker Justice!

Field Education Placements
At any of the GTU schools, you can do your field education requirement with the East Bay Alliance for a Sustainable Economy!  You can organize on campus and in the Bay Area on campaigns involving immigrant and worker rights - in hotels, at the Oakland International Airport, or at the Port of Oakland.

Summer Internship Opportunities
Interfaith Worker Justice offers summer internship opportunities for graduate students studying theology and ministry.  The program is open to students from seminarians, theologates, rabbinical schools, and other graduate-level theology programs of all faith traditions.  It is a ten-week program, with the first week spent at an in-depth orientation and training in Chicago, 8.5 weeks at a placement site somewhere in the United States, and then a half-week debrief at the end of the summer in Chicago.  For more information, please visit their website.
